As Managing Director of EMERGE-ZAMBIA, Bernard provides visionary leadership and strategic oversight for all departments. He represents the organization at the highest level, drives strategic planning, and ensures effective governance through budget approval, proposal review, and partnership development. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Education and a Master's degree in Political Science and International Relations, and will soon commence his PhD in Politics.
ERNNIE GONDWE
As Executive Director of the EMERGE Institute for Youth Development & Diplomacy, Ernnie leads efforts to promote youth-led research, policy think tanks, and academic publications. She develops strategic partnerships with universities, think tanks, and academic bodies, while organizing national policy labs and forums for public discourse. She also oversees the facilitation of academic journals and innovation hubs to foster youth-driven knowledge and solutions. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Education and a Master's degree in Governance.
MALAMA NG'ONA
As Director of Finance & Operations, Malama leads financial planning, budgeting, and compliance, ensuring audit readiness and donor accountability. She also serves as Administrative Manager, overseeing HR, logistics, program operations, procurement, and membership recruitment and benefits. She holds a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and is currently pursuing a Master's in International Relations.
EFTIHIOS GREGORAKIS
As Head of Simulation and Secretary-General at the EMERGE-ZAMBIA MUN Academy, Eftihios leads the design of MUN training materials, conferences, and simulations. He mentors delegates, certifies participants, and supports affiliate clubs with content and logistics. He also organizes international simulations and boot camps, contributing to the academy's growth and success. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and International Relations.
CATRIONA COPPEZ

They'll develop strategic partnerships and sponsorships, mobilize volunteers for SDG-focused programs, and oversee community impact initiatives and chapter expansion, driving the organization's mission forward.
GERALD LUNDOYI
As the Director of Marketing & Communications, Gerald leads efforts to manage branding, public relations, and digital content. He designs and executes marketing campaigns, while supervising associate teams to boost visibility and promotions, ultimately driving the organization's online presence and reputation. He is currently pursuing his Bachelor's in International Relations.
MWELWA JOHN YEZI
The Associate of Outreach & Partnerships assists in EMERGE-ZAMBIA's SDGs Action Division, coordinating outreach efforts in schools and universities. He develops strategic partnerships and sponsorships, mobilizes volunteers for SDG-focused programs, and oversees community impact initiatives and chapter expansion, driving the organization's mission forward. He reports to the director of the said department and holds a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations.
BUPE NKWETO
The Associate for Operations supports student leadership activities, ensuring effective communication and logistical support for campus-based teams. She assists in planning, implementing, and evaluating programs, while coordinating with the Head of Simulation Initiatives to provide simulation-based training for EMERGE ambassadors and student leaders. She is pursuing her Bachelor's Degree in International Relations.
CHRISTINE CHOONGO
The Marketing Associate supports the Director of Marketing & Communications in managing branding, public relations, and digital content. She assists in designing and executing marketing campaigns, creating content, and implementing strategies to boost visibility and promotions, contributing to the organization's online presence and reputation. She is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Law.
MULENGA CHANDA
As an associate under the Finance & Operations department, Mulenga assists with financial planning, budgeting, and compliance, ensuring audit readiness and donor accountability. She also serves as Administrative Manager, overseeing HR, logistics, program operations, procurement, and membership recruitment and benefits. She reports to the Director of Finance and Operations and holds a Bachelor's degree in Agri-business.
